ICED: The Mrs. Grey blend is lovely southern iced on a hot summer day or served with brunch with a slice of orange or lemon. Use 1/4 cup of the tea blend steeped in 1 gallon of boiling water for 4 minutes. Add sweetener to taste and cool in refrigerator. (If steeped over 4 minutes the tea will burn and have a bitter taste – if this happens, add a ¼ teaspoon baking soda. Adding the baking soda will also clear up the tea if it becomes cloudy.
Hot: The fruity flavors make this an excellent hot tea served with orange slices, lemon, and milk. Use 1 teaspoon of Mrs. Grey tea in 1 cup of boiling water for 4 minutes. Add sweetener and milk. (If steeped over 4 minutes the tea will burn and have a bitter taste. You can steep the same tea bag several times during one sitting.
